Russian Attack Strikes Cherkaska Lozova
The five wounded after today's hostile attack on the village of Cherkaska Lozova in Kharkiv region
Today, an aggressive airstrike targeted Cherkaska Lozova, a village in the Kharkiv region, resulting in injuries to at least five individuals. Among the victims were members of a single family, including three childre a two-year-old girl and two boys, ages 6 and 15.
An official statement from local authorities detailed the event: “A family suffered as a result of an enemy strike on the village of Cherkaska Lozova: prosecutors recorded the consequences of the air attack... A 45-year-old man and his 38-year-old wife were injured.
Three of their children - a two-year-old girl and two boys aged 6 and 15 - suffered an acute stress reaction,” the statement said.
This incident prompted the Derhachiv District Prosecutor's Office of Kharkiv Region to initiate a pre-trial investigation under the laws of war, specifically Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The attack occurred around 15:25 when munitions from an enemy aircraft struck an open space, causing extensive damage to private properties. Local prosecutorial and police forces are currently engaged in rigorous documentation efforts concerning the war crimes allegedly perpetrated by Russian military personnel.
Reports from earlier in the day confirmed that Russian forces had launched an airstrike in the Kharkiv district, leading to multiple casualties. Prior to the attack, there had been warnings from the Air Force about potential threats from the Russian military employing guided aerial bombs.
