Call for Nominations for Seychelles' 3rd National Awards

Seychelles  25 March 2025 The National Awards Committee has started accepting nominations for Seychelles' third National Awards. These awards are meant to honour Seychellois people who have done great things for the country.

Committee Chairperson Robert Grandcourt shared this news during a press conference held yesterday. He said it is important to thank and recognise people who work hard to improve Seychelles.

“There are many people doing good work in our country. These awards are one way to show them that we are proud of them and that we value what they do for our people,” Mr Grandcourt said.

The committee is happy with the big number of nominations received in the last two award events — about 250 in total. They believe many more people still deserve to be recognised. This year, they will look at both new nominations and those from the past.
