Pastor Bugingo urges Bobi Wine to embrace Christianity, saying spiritual change should come before politics.

Pastor Aloysius Bugingo, who leads the House of Prayer Ministries, has asked Ugandan opposition leader Robert Kyagulanyi, also known as Bobi Wine, to become a Christian. He shared this message during a YouTube interview with his partner, Suzan Makula.

Bugingo said that while everything in this world comes to an end, God never abandons His people. He added that it would make him happy to see Bobi Wine give his life to Christ.

Known for speaking out, Pastor Bugingo often talks about politics and social issues during his church sermons. He regularly brings up Bobi Wine and strongly disagrees with many of his political views. Bugingo believes that before a person can make political changes, they should first experience a change in their spiritual life.

The pastor is a known supporter of President Yoweri Museveni and General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, who currently leads Uganda’s Defence Forces. His open support for the ruling government has brought both praise and criticism.

Bobi Wine, who once ran for president, is still active in politics and leads the National Unity Platform, the main opposition party in Uganda.

Pastor Bugingo’s church has a large following across the country, and his bold comments on politics and religion continue to get people talking.
