King Saha(right) urges Chameleone(left) to return to Uganda
Musician King Saha, whose real name is Mansur Semanda, has asked his mentor Jose Chameleone to return to Uganda for a better recovery process.
Chameleone left for the United States in December last year, where he has been getting medical treatment. Reports say his health is getting better. He is currently staying at Juliet Zawedde’s house in the U.S., along with Weasel.
King Saha, who started his music journey under Leone Island, the group led by Chameleone, believes that staying in Uganda would be better for Chameleone’s health in the long run. Even after starting his solo music career, Saha continued working with Chameleone’s former manager, Sam Mukasa.
In a recent interview with a local YouTuber, King Saha said:
"I think he should return to Uganda and experience the horizons again. We thank the medical team for doing a good job, the caretakers, and everyone who has played a part," he said.
According to Saha, Chameleone has stayed in America for a long time, and it might now be the right moment to come back home and enjoy the African environment.
