Tanzanian Prime Minister, Kassim Majaliwa

A member of the CCM’s Central Committee and Prime Minister, Kassim Majaliwa, has shared the government’s efforts to solve the water shortage problem in the country. He revealed plans to invest in large projects that will draw water from key sources such as Lake Victoria, Lake Tanganyika, and Lake Nyasa to provide safe and clean water for Tanzanians.

Majaliwa made these statements during a special CCM general meeting held at Nguzo Nane grounds in Maswa, Simiyu Region.

“Our plan is to extend water services even to remote villages,” he said.

On healthcare, he highlighted that the government continues to allocate a large budget to improve health services. The goal is to ensure people do not have to travel long distances to get medical care.

To support national development, Majaliwa also spoke about the government’s commitment to improving electricity supply. He noted that almost all villages in the country now have electricity, with efforts ongoing to connect the remaining areas.

“We have successfully connected nearly 99 percent of our villages to electricity and we now extend services to the remaining villages.”

Majaliwa further emphasized the strength and dedication of CCM in serving the people. He praised the party’s policies, saying they help provide essential services and address the needs of citizens.

“This party has always ensured the implementation of its election manifesto, delivering services that every Tanzanian benefits from daily. The party has also played a pivotal role in maintaining peace and stability in the country,” he said.
