The Champions League quarter-final lineup is now complete, with eight teams officially securing their spots after intense knockout-stage battles.

On Wednesday night, Arsenal, Aston Villa, Borussia Dortmund, and Atletico Madrid booked their places in the last eight. They join Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, Inter Milan, and Bayern Munich, who had already advanced earlier.

How Each Team Qualified

  • Arsenal had all but secured their spot after a 7-1 first-leg win against PSV. Despite a 2-2 draw at the Emirates, Mikel Arteta’s side comfortably moved forward.

  • Aston Villa dominated Club Brugge, winning 3-0 on the night and sealing a 5-1 aggregate victory over the Belgian side.

  • Borussia Dortmund fought back from behind to defeat Lille 2-1 in France, clinching qualification with a 3-2 aggregate win.

  • Atletico Madrid edged Real Madrid with a 1-0 win on the night, but Los Blancos prevailed 4-2 on penalties to keep their title hopes alive.

The quarter-finals promise to be an electrifying showdown as Europe’s biggest clubs battle for a place in the semi-finals.
