Top European clubs Bayern Munich, Atletico Madrid, AC Milan, and PSV Eindhoven are in danger of early Champions League exits after a series of poor results in the group stage.
Bayern Munich, Atletico Madrid, AC Milan, and PSV Eindhoven are among the prominent teams at risk of being knocked out of the Champions League.
Bayern Munich suffered a heavy 4-1 defeat to Barcelona on Wednesday, adding to their 1-0 loss to Aston Villa on Matchday 2, leaving them in a difficult position in the group stage.
Atletico Madrid's struggles continued as they sit in 27th place following a 3-1 loss to Lille, with Jonathan David scoring twice to add to their misery.
Despite AC Milan's 3-1 win over Club Brugge earlier in the week, they remain in 25th place and face a tough challenge to qualify.
PSV Eindhoven also find themselves in trouble, occupying the 28th spot with only two points from three matches.
Each club has five more matches to play, with the top eight teams advancing to the last 16, while those ranked between 9th and 24th will enter the playoffs for a chance to join them.
