Victor Osimhen is set to arrive in camp on Thursday as the Super Eagles prepare for their crucial 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers against Benin Republic and Rwanda. The 25-year-old forward is included in Nigeria’s 23-man squad for the matches against the Cheetahs and Amavubi.

Osimhen is expected to complete his loan move to Turkish Super Lig champions Galatasaray by Tuesday, after which he will join the national team. The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) confirmed that both Osimhen and Udinese goalkeeper Maduka Okoye will report to the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel on Thursday, just two days before the Super Eagles face Benin Republic.

Meanwhile, Kelechi Iheanacho, who recently signed with Sevilla in Spain, is scheduled to join the squad on Wednesday. With 20 players already in camp, the team is gearing up for the decisive qualifiers as they aim to secure their spot in the 2025 AFCON.
