Manchester United has dismissed Erik ten Hag as manager after a series of poor results. Ten Hag's tenure at Old Trafford, which began in April 2022, ended on Monday due to the club's unsatisfactory performance in the current campaign, with United currently 14th in the Premier League standings.
During his time, Ten Hag led Manchester United to win the Carabao Cup in 2023 and the FA Cup in 2024.
Despite these achievements and a contract extension until June 2026, supported by new co-owners INEOS, the club's poor start this season has resulted in his departure. The former Ajax manager leaves after more than two years in charge.
