Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric has defended teammate Kylian Mbappe, urging fans not to doubt the forward. Modric spoke following Real Madrid’s 4-0 win over Osasuna in LaLiga, where Mbappe did not score.

Mbappe has now gone four games without a goal for Carlo Ancelotti’s side, which has led to criticism from some fans. Modric, however, expressed confidence in Mbappe’s future impact on the team.

“Don’t doubt Mbappé. I’m sure he will help us a lot in the future,”

Modric said after the game.

“He will show everyone why he has been and still is one of the best players in the world.”
