Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has claimed that people want his team’s dominant era to come to an end. His comments followed City’s 2-1 loss to Brighton in the Premier League on Saturday.

After watching Brighton come from behind to win at Falmer Stadium, Guardiola told reporters,

“I love a challenge. I won’t step back, more than ever I want to do it.” He added, “People want our era to be over, but… we’re not finished yet.”

Guardiola has led Manchester City to six Premier League titles in the last seven years, cementing their place at the top of English football.
