Manchester United have made inquiries about Bayern Munich’s Leroy Sane, who is edging closer to leaving the Allianz Arena, according to BILD.
With Sane’s contract expiring at the end of the season, United are exploring the option of bringing him in during the January transfer window instead of waiting until he becomes a free agent in the summer.
United’s poor start to the season led to the departure of Erik ten Hag, with Sporting CP’s Ruben Amorim set to take over as manager on November 11.
The club is now focused on strengthening their attack to give Amorim the best possible start in January.
