Cristiano Ronaldo will receive a special honor from UEFA as the all-time leading goalscorer in the UEFA Champions League. UEFA President Aleksander Čeferin will present the award, recognizing Ronaldo's remarkable achievements and significant contributions to football.

With a career spanning over 18 years, Ronaldo has reached numerous milestones, having scored an incredible 140 goals in 183 Champions League appearances. The Portuguese legend, who has played for Sporting CP, Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus, leads the goal tally ahead of his longtime rival Lionel Messi, who trails by 11 goals. Bayern Munich's Robert Lewandowski ranks third, 46 goals behind Ronaldo.

Ronaldo’s dominance in the Champions League is unmatched. He has finished as the top scorer in seven different seasons, more than any other player in the competition's history. Additionally, he holds the record for the most goals in a single Champions League season, netting 17 times during the 2013/14 campaign, including a crucial goal in Real Madrid’s extra-time victory over Atlético Madrid in the final.

This honor solidifies Ronaldo's legacy as one of the greatest players to have ever graced the Champions League stage.
