Chelsea Football Club is reportedly advancing in negotiations with Napoli to sign Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen. The proposed deal includes a €60 million fee, an additional €10 million in potential add-ons, and Romelu Lukaku as part of the transaction. The Blues are offering Osimhen a five-year contract valued at £10 million per year, extending until June 2029, with 100% of his image rights included in the deal.

Despite Chelsea’s strong interest, Osimhen remains focused on a potential transfer to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). The Nigerian striker has also attracted attention from Saudi Arabian clubs, making his decision crucial to the deal's progress.

Chelsea’s technical staff has given the green light for Osimhen's move, and reports suggest updates will emerge in the next 48 hours. Napoli's sporting director, Giovanni Manna, is set to continue talks in London, but finalizing Romelu Lukaku's departure to Naples could depend on the funds from Osimhen's sale.

Osimhen’s exceptional performance last season solidified his reputation. The 25-year-old striker played a pivotal role in helping Napoli clinch the Serie A title in the 2022/23 season, scoring 26 goals in 32 league matches. Napoli signed him from Lille in 2020 for a fee exceeding £65 million, and while he recently renewed his contract with a release clause of approximately £101 million, the Italian club appears open to his departure this summer.

"Victor Osimhen has asked to leave the club," Napoli sporting director Manna confirmed. "He wants to go. The situation is clear, and there were opportunities for his exit last summer. We will see what happens."

With ongoing interest from PSG and other suitors, Osimhen’s future remains a hot topic as Napoli considers cashing in on the prolific forward.
