Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has agreed to extend his stay at the club for one more season. The new contract keeps him at the Etihad Stadium until June 2026, with an option to extend further until June 2027.

This decision comes after speculation regarding his future, but as reported earlier, Manchester City never approached other coaches and remained confident about retaining Guardiola.

The Spaniard has been pivotal to City’s success, winning multiple Premier League titles and leading the team to their first UEFA Champions League victory in the 2022/23 season.

Guardiola’s extended stay offers stability for the club as they continue their pursuit of domestic and European glory.
