Bayer Leverkusen forward Victor Boniface has issued a public statement following his suspension and €25,000 fine for unsportsmanlike behavior during the recent Super Cup match against VfB Stuttgart. The German Football Association (DFB) confirmed the disciplinary action, which includes a one-match ban.

The incident occurred during post-match celebrations when Boniface was accused of making an obscene gesture by raising his middle finger toward Stuttgart players.

In a message to his social media followers, Boniface urged fans to refrain from making any financial requests over the next three months, humorously warning,

"If you bill me for the next three months, I might block you. Let’s all be guided."

The fine, which amounts to approximately 44 million Nigerian Naira, has attracted attention across both sports and social media circles.
