Real Madrid's Jude Bellingham has publicly expressed his admiration for Super Eagles forward Ademola Lookman, following the 2024 UEFA Super Cup victory over Atalanta. The England international praised Lookman's performance, particularly highlighting the winger's standout hat-trick that led Atalanta to a 3-0 triumph against Bayer Leverkusen in the UEFA Europa League final.

Bellingham, who is currently in the running for the prestigious Ballon d'Or, acknowledged the challenge of defending against Lookman during their last meeting on August 14th in Warsaw, Poland. He emphasized the skill and impact of the Nigerian international, noting how difficult it was to contain him on the field.

"We had to prepare carefully because Atalanta has some incredible talents,"

Bellingham told reporters after Real Madrid's victory in the Super Cup.

"Ademola Lookman, who I'm a big fan of, is one of those players. He's exceptional in one-on-one situations, and we had to be on our toes."

If Arsenal makes a move for Lookman, it would mark his return to the Premier League, where he previously played for Everton. During his stint at Goodison Park, the winger netted four goals for the Toffees.
