
It’s finally happening! American pop star and Grammy winner Doja Cat is coming to South Africa for the first time. She will be the main headliner at the Hey Neighbour music and lifestyle festival happening from 29 to 31 August 2025 at Legends Adventure Farm in Pretoria.
Doja Cat, whose real name is Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini, is the daughter of South African actor Dumisani Dlamini. Even though she has never been to South Africa before, she has often shown love for the country. She once wore a dress with the South African flag at the Global Citizen Festival in New York, and she even brought South African music group The Joy to perform with her at Coachella

Fans are excited that Doja Cat South Africa 2025 and very excited to finally see her live in Mzansi. Her visit feels like a homecoming, and she’s expected to bring a powerful performance filled with her most famous songs like Paint the Town Red, Say So, Woman, and Kiss Me Mor
The CEO of the festival, Glen Netshipise, said they are thrilled to have her on board. He believes her energy, creativity, and global influence make her the perfect artist to launch this year’s exciting lineup. He also said more big names will be announced soon.
