Davido to Headline Raha Fest 2024 Among Other Renowned Performers

The inaugural Raha Festival, touted as Africa's grandest celebration of music, arts, and culture, is set to commence today at Uhuru Gardens. This event, spanning March 30th and 31st, 2024, promises a memorable fusion of musical performances, art showcases, and cultural exhibitions. The festival has successfully attracted a host of international and Kenyan talent to its stage for this two-day extravaganza.
Raha Fest 2024 is designed to offer a plethora of experiences, from art installations and cultural showcases to gourmet food stalls and engaging workshops. Its primary objective is to foster unity among diverse groups through the appreciation of African artistry and cultural heritage.
Leading the lineup is the internationally acclaimed Afrobeat superstar Davido, known for his energetic performances and a string of hits including "Unavailable ft Musa Keys," "Feel," "Fall," "If," and "FEM." His presence at the festival underscores its significance in the African entertainment landscape.
The festival will kick off with Davido sharing the stage with the talented Musa Keys, marking the beginning of a remarkable international showcase.
Adding to the festival's allure are Nigerian talents Iyanya, Logos Olori, Olori, Morravey, and the celebrated DJ Neptune. The Kenyan music scene will be well-represented on the second day, featuring performances by Mejja, Samidoh, and Femi One among others.
The second day continues with an impressive roster including Otile Brown, Bensoul, H-art the Band, Nadia Mukami, Boutross, Nviiri the Storyteller, Sanaipei Tande, and Melina Gold. Ghana's King Promise and the gifted Ya Levis from the Democratic Republic of Congo will also grace the stage, promising an unforgettable musical journey.
King Promise, visiting Kenya for the first time, expressed his excitement and anticipation for delivering a memorable performance, inviting fans to partake in what promises to be a historic event.
Tickets are available for purchase online through Ticket Sasa and Ticket Yetu, with prices set at KES 6000 for a regular weekend pass and KES 12000 for a VIP weekend pass. The gates will open at 12 PM, inviting attendees to immerse themselves in a celebration of African creativity and diversity.
