President Félix Tshisekedi, you are not alone, your people are with you

Open Letter to H.E Felix Tshisekedi

By Thierry Monsenepwo

In these times of aggression when our nation is facing major challenges to preserve its territorial integrity and sovereignty, it is essential to reaffirm a clear and strong message: Mr. President Félix Tshisekedi, you are not alone.

The Congolese people, proud and determined, remain standing by your side. We have seen your constant efforts to restore the dignity of our nation, to defend our borders, and to guarantee the security of every citizen. Today, in the face of aggression and external provocations coming from Rwanda, we declare loud and clear our solidarity.

The courage and resilience of the Armed Forces of the Democratic Republic of Congo (FARDC) and the Wazalendo fighters are a testament to this national unity. Their recent advances on the ground have given hope to an entire people. But we also know that this aggression is not only military. It is political, economic, and media-related.

In the face of enemy propaganda, we must respond with an unprecedented national mobilization. We must close ranks, strengthen faith in our institutions, and carry a message of resistance and hope. Because, beyond weapons, it is the will of the Congolese people that will determine the outcome of this battle.

Mr. President, your leadership inspires confidence. In this year when we will celebrate the 65th anniversary of our independence, we must transform this struggle for survival into a victorious march towards the rebirth of a strong and united nation.

To those who seek to divide us, we respond with unity. To those who seek to weaken us, we respond with resilience. And to those who doubt our ability to overcome this ordeal, we say: Congo will not fall.

Today more than ever, our people stand united behind you, President Félix Tshisekedi. You carry the hope of a nation and the future of a continent. We are ready to march alongside you, to defend our country and protect its legacy.

No, Mr. President, you are not alone. Your people are with you. And together, we will prevail.
